Presidential School in Fergana Student Wins Bronze Medal at iGeo-2026
The 22nd International Geography Olympiad — iGeo-2026 was held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 11 to 17 August.
The prestigious international competition brought together 184 young geographers from nearly 50 countries. Participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills through a series of challenging assessments, including a written test, a multimedia test, and fieldwork exercises.
Representing the Uzbekistan national team, Hakimjonov Yahyo Zafarjon ogli, a Grade 10 student of the Presidential School in Fergana, achieved an excellent result and won a bronze medal.
