Admission process
The school’s three-stage admissions process is highly selective and includes compulsory aptitude tests assessing critical thinking, problem solving and English language skills. Each year, around 3,500 applicants compete for only 24 Grade 5 places, resulting in an admission rate of about 0.7%. Cambridge International Education provides examination materials and oversees the admissions process to support transparency and impartiality.
Eligibility and registration
Who can apply?
Grade 4 graduates may apply for Grade 5. Annual grades in STEAM subjects (Mathematics and Science) must be 5 (excellent).
Regional eligibility
A student may apply only to the Presidential School in the region where they are currently studying.
Online application
Applications are submitted through ariza.piima.uz or my.gov.uz. A 3x4 photo and a copy of the school report are required.

Stage 1: Selection examination

Categories
Questions are divided into A (easy), B (medium) and C (difficult) levels.

Stage 2: within 30 days.
Note: results are not subject to appeal.
Reserve opportunity
The first 48 students who do not gain admission at Stage 2 may be admitted to a selected specialised school without an additional exam.
