Official admission information

Admission to Presidential School in Fergana

The school’s three-stage admissions process is highly selective and includes compulsory aptitude tests assessing critical thinking, problem solving and English language skills. Each year, around 3,500 applicants compete for only 24 Grade 5 places, resulting in an admission rate of about 0.7%. Cambridge International Education provides examination materials and oversees the admissions process to support transparency and impartiality.

Fergana 2026 Stage 1 pre-selection results

Cambridge International published the 2026 Presidential Schools Stage 1 pre-selection results by region, including a separate Fergana Grade 5 PDF. Cambridge also explains ranking by Rasch ability score and the tie-break rules used for equal scores.

Required documents and information

The official Admission portal lists a school-director-approved copy of the relevant report card or its QR-coded electronic version, a pupil photograph taken within the last two months, birth-certificate details, parent/legal representative passport details and contact numbers. Entrance examinations are held in two stages

Stage 1 consists of 30 Mathematics questions: 10 easy (A), 10 medium (B) and 10 difficult (C). Twenty candidates per available place — 480 candidates per Presidential School — progress to Stage 2 based on the highest results. Stage 2 consists of 40 Mathematics critical-thinking/problem-solving questions and 40 English Grammar and Reading questions.

Admission procedure for the 2026/2027 academic year

Applications to Presidential Schools are submitted online through the official electronic platforms. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the admission process is organised under the procedure approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 214. Applicants verify their details, choose the school type, upload the required documents and submit the application electronically.

Registration and application submission

Applications are submitted electronically through my.gov.uz or ariza.piima.uz. On the Admission portal, the process covers registration, selecting the child, choosing the school type and submitting the application with documents. Application status and examination permits are managed through the applicant's personal account.

Which grade is admission to Presidential Schools for?

Where are results published?
Official results are published through the Agency and its official admission channels. The 2026 Stage 1 Presidential Schools pre-selection results were also published by Cambridge International by region, including a Fergana PDF. Approved school-specific PDF files are published in the Admission Results section of the FerganaPS website.
