PISA is a major international study that assesses the knowledge and skills of 15-year-old students worldwide in mathematics, reading, and science according to internationally recognised criteria.

The assessment evaluates not only students’ theoretical knowledge but also their ability to apply their knowledge and skills in real-life situations.

Uzbekistan participated in the PISA international assessment for the first time in 2022. Its results provide an opportunity to evaluate the strengths of the country’s education system and identify areas requiring further development according to international benchmarks.
